A Look Back
We’d like to take a moment to recap some of the exciting developments at SLPAANZ over the past few months:
Successful CPD Event: A huge thank you to everyone who participated in and supported our recent CPD event on 10th of March. It was a great success!
New Website Coming Soon: Our website is nearing completion, and we’ll be sharing it with you soon for your feedback.
Upcoming Events – Save the date!
- Upcoming AGM and applications for the new committee. Please note that our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for early July 2024. The whole meeting will be online and we hope most of you can join. The details will follow. We will also be sharing a link for you to apply to join the new committee. Being part of the committee offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the field of psychiatry in Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka, the psychiatry community. Both established professionals and trainees are welcome to apply.

- Mark your calendars for the Sri Lanka College and SAARC joint conference on July 26th – 28th July, where several committee members and Sri Lankan psychiatrists intend to participate.( https://slcpsych.lk )
Looking Ahead
We have many exciting ideas for the coming year, and we hope to structure subcommittees to allow for more focused contributions. We value your involvement in areas you’re interested in, so please don’t hesitate to get involved! We look forward to seeing you at the AGM and our upcoming conference!
